Plain version: be reasonable with the app, don't try to break it, don't use it as medical advice, and we'll do our best to keep it working. The legal version is below.
1. Agreement
By using Gatherd you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Gatherd is operated by Be Mom First, LLC ("we", "us").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to use Gatherd. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has approved your use.
3. Not medical advice
Gatherd helps you track food, spending, sleep, water, exercise, and habits. Calorie targets, macro suggestions, and any recommendations are starting estimates, not medical, nutritional, or fitness advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making meaningful changes to your diet, exercise, or medications. We are not responsible for outcomes from following any number the app shows you.
4. Your content
You own everything you log. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the service for you (including sending photos to our AI provider for parsing). We do not claim ownership and we do not sell your data.
5. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. The 7-day free trial requires a payment method; you can cancel anytime before the trial ends and won't be charged. After trial, cancellations stop future billing — no refunds for the period already paid.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't try to access other users' data.
- Don't reverse-engineer the AI parsing for resale.
- Don't use Gatherd to track other people without their consent.
- Don't upload anything illegal, infringing, or harmful.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided "as is." We may pause, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Gatherd is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or $50 if you've never paid.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in that jurisdiction.
